Sharkrockets open Summer swimming season at Cabot

The Lonoke SharkRockets opened their swim season this past weekend with a meet at the community center in Cabot.

Emily Armstrong (13-14) placed second in the freestyle and backstroke, and third in the breaststroke and individual medley.

Mackenzie Bennett (girls 15-18) took first in the IM and Butterfly, while also finishing second in the free and back strokes.

Tristan Bennett (G 15-18) finished second in the free and breast, and third in the back and butterfly.

Tanner Canamore (boys 15-18) finished second in the butterfly.

Baileigh Dulaney (G 15-18) finished third in the breast.

Tanner Edwards (B 15-18) had a solid meet, finishing first in the butterfly and taking second in the free, back and IM.

Jimmy Evans (B 15-18) finished second in the free and breast, while also earning third in the butterfly.

Kelyn Fagan (B 9-10) took third place in the backstroke.

Colby Hartley (G 15-18) finished second in the breast and third in the free.

Casey Long (B 15-18) finished in second in the IM, while also taking third in the butterfly.

Kayla McGee (G 15-18) looked outstanding while winning three events: the freestyle, breast and IM. She finished second in the butterfly.

Spencer McGee (B 7-8) was dominant, winning the free, back and breast.

Colby Rogers (B 15-18) finished third in the backstroke.

Kanon Williams (B 6-under) won his freestyle race, and finished second in the backstroke.

Evan Wilson (B 15-18) finished as the runner-up in the back, breast and IM.
