Jackrabbits get third in conference meet

The Lonoke Jackrabbits finished third in the 4A-2 conference track meet last week at Heber Springs High School.

The Jackrabbits scored 98.5 points. Heber Springs won the conference title with 227 points. Pine Bluff Dollarway was second with 133 points.

Lonoke’s girls finished sixth with 33 points. Heber Springs won the girls conference title with 260 points.

Boys meet

Eric Williams finished fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.51 seconds. Justin Meadows was seventh at 11.96 seconds.

D.J. Burton was seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.49 seconds.

Caleb Bailey was fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.66 seconds. Stephon Carthron was eighth at 56.54 seconds.

Jeffery Norwood was fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:10.95. Tykel Gray was seventh at 2:19.75.

Gray was fourth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:06.89. Luis Padron was fifth at 5:32.99.

Logan Malone was sixth in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 14:17.88. Shigeo Nayto was seventh at 14:21.99.

Levi Ward was sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 19.82 seconds. He was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 47.10 seconds. Dylan Walker was eighth with a time of 48.74 seconds.

Lonoke was second in the 400-meter relay with a time of 44.38 seconds. Running were Williams, Burton, Brent Sims and Blake Mack.

Lonoke was third in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 3:51.79. Running were Caleb Bailey, Mack, Anthony Morris and Carthron.

Lonoke was third in the 3,200-meter relay with a time of 9:36.57. Running were Norwaood, Gray, Padron and Chris Smith.

Mack was fifth in the high jump with a height of 5 feet, 6 inches. Meadows was seventh at 5 feet, 6 inches.

Smith was seventh in the pole vault with a height of 9 feet.

Williams won the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 9 inches. Mack was fourth with a jump of 20 feet, 6.5 inches.

Mack was fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 41 feet, 1.5 inches. Williams was fifth at 40 feet, 3.5 inches. Meadows was seventh at 38 feet, 4.5 inches.

Dylan Goforth was fourth in the discus with a throw of 105 feet, 10 inches.

Girls meet

Lonoke’s Janis Chapman was seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 30.14 seconds. She was fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:09.37.

Haiden Jeter was second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:43.24.

Savannah Holman was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 58.17 seconds.

Lonoke was fifth in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 4:55. Running were Ashlyn Allen, Chapman, Jeter and Holman.

Holman was fourth in the high jump with a height of 4 feet, 8 inches.

Jeter was sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 28 feet, 5 inches.

Allen was eighth in the shot put with a throw of 26 feet, 2.25 inches. She was sixth in the discus with a throw of 66 feet, 8 inches.
