The Quilters of Lonoke Extension Homemakers Club present over 170 Breast Cancer Comfort Cushions to ARCares of Arkansas. The service project coincided with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Volunteer members of Lonoke County’s Extension Homemakers Clubs and the Quilters completed the Cushions with donated materials. ARCares will make the Cushions available in their clinics to post-mastectomy patients as an aid in the recovery process.
