I want to begin by thanking everyone for coming to graduation tonight, especially all of my family and friends. I would also like to thank my parents for encouraging me to work hard in my educational career. Additionally, I want to thank all of the educators that have seen potential in this class of 2013 and not given up on us.

Class of 2013, tonight is the beginning of our adult lives. I would like to congratulate this class of seniors for making it to this night. By graduating, you have opened many doors. The choice you make will be the first major decision and will affect the rest of your life.

The only other decision I know that is more important for your life will be what you decide to do in eternity. Always remember, we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow.

After tonight we will each begin to part our separate ways. The roads through life will be different for each and every one of us. We will have to live, learn, and adapt in order to make it to retirement age. This may be the last time for a while that many of us are all gathered together; we have had a good 12 years. Class of 2013, good luck in the rest of your life, and may God be with you.
