The Lonoke School District will be hosting a Homework Hotline Open House for parents and students on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at 6 p.m. at the Carver Campus. The Homework Hotline is located inside the Committed to Other Routes of Education (C.O.R.E.) building/Adult Education Center and Career Educational Center at 500 East Locust Street. Hot dogs and drinks will be served as well as a tour of our Homework Hotline Center and materials for parents to take home.

The Lonoke School District is also hosting an Open House at all campuses. The locations, dates, and times are below:

Primary 2nd chance Kindergarten registration (in LPS’s gym due to construction) is Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, all day until 5:30 p.m.

Primary Open House (gym) for Kindergarten is 6 -7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11

1st grade Open House (gym) is 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11

2nd grade Open House (gym) is 6:45-7:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11

Elementary Open House is on Thursday, Aug. 14, from 5 -7 p.m.

Middle School Open House for 6th grade is on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 6 -7 p.m. and grades 7th and 8th from 7 -8 p.m.

High School Open House is on Monday, Aug. 11 at 6:45 p.m. for 9th grade and 7 p.m. for grades 10, 11, and 12 in the Gina Cox Center

There will be a local minister’s brunch for all Lonoke community church leaders in an effort to meet and greet the district staff and work together to communicate the importance of parent/community involvement in the school system, and the vital values that parents instill in their children that help support students’ academic achievement and success. The brunch will take place at the Lonoke High School Cafeteria on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, from 11-1 p.m. The district mission/vision will be discussed with the team of leaders and strategic planning to support student growth in academics, behavioral, social, extra-curricular and emotional skills.
