The Lonoke High School Graduating Class of 1968 along with their spouses and significant others celebrated their 45th Class Reunion on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Bubba’s BBQ from Cabot catered dinner at the Lonoke Museum meeting room at 6:00 p.m. which gave those ,who did not tour the school, a chance to visit with their classmates.

They were Linda Bryant Thompson, Margo Burgess Douglas, William (Junior) Burrow, Janie Depriest Raper, Sandy Eagle Ray, James Hall, Byron Holmes Jr., Michele Lilly Reynolds, Mary Jean Pack, Sammy Whitlow, Amy Winfrey Staggs, Wayne Richardson, Gerald Schenebeck, Marietta Johnson Jamison, and Fred Bryant.

The Class of 1968 also honored those in their class who had passed away: Mike Finch, John Branan, Ronnie Miller, Dennis VanHouten, Larry Odom, Linda Liles Justice, Kay Carter, Vicki Glass Petty Gass, Forrest Cole and Joe Stocks.

Keith Larkin, Class President, presided over the evening’s festivities which included the reading of the Class Will and Class History. Keith also brought down the house with a true story about a day in the life of pharmacist.

The Reunion Committee did a fantastic job in making this one of the best reunions ever. The Class of 1968 plans to have another reunion in 5 years – their 50th.
