Prize-winning cabbage

Chloe Ingle was chosen out of her three grade class at Lonoke Primary School as the winner for her Bonnie Plant Farm annual Mega Cabbage Plant Program. The cabbage is still growing. She is now entered into the state competition to win a $1,000 scholarship. Each child in the third grade was given a cabbage plant & handout. A $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded to one winner in each state. The state winner is selected the the help of your state department of agriculture through a random drawing. Each student will be asked to submit a photo with their cabbage. The winner from each class should be selected based on cabbage head size as well as overall appearance of the photo. Ingle will enter her cabbage in the state competition in September. (Sumbitted photo)
