Parent-teacher Conferences at Lonoke Public Schools will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, for Middle School and High School and Thursday, Nov. 7, for Primary and Elementary Schools from 3-8 p.m.
School will begin dismissing at the primary at 2:10 p.m., elementary and middle school at 2:20 p.m. and the high school at 2:30 p.m. to allow preparation for conferences. Please make plans to attend and visit the teacher(s) regarding your child’s educational progress.
Some helpful hints for parents/guardians to know prior to conferences are as follows: Please arrive on time for your child’s designated conference time (primary/elementary students only). Bring a list of questions to discuss with the teacher(s). Remember your child’s teacher has other parents to visit and is on a time schedule.
You may desire to schedule another conference time with your child’s teacher (s) to discuss progress further. Please provide updated phone and address information to the teacher(s) and the office personnel.
It is difficult to communicate when information has not been updated and provided to the school. Lonoke Public Schools hopes that each parent/guardian will attend the conference nights. Research has proved that children who have parents/guardians that are involved in the educational process are more successful and have a happier overall school experience.
