Board hires long term sub for high school

The Lonoke School Board met in a special meeting on March 20 to discuss long-term substitute teacher for the high school.

During the meeting, the board unanimously approved to hire Bonnie Moody as a long-term licensed substitute through SubTeach USA until the end of the 2013-14 school year, with authorization for the superintendent to negotiate long-term sub pay for a one-time event based on board approval.

Karen James, Johnie Watson and Mike Brown were absent from the meeting.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be at 6 p.m. on April 21 at the administration building.
