Arrests made in farm thefts

Lonoke County Sheriff’s office released information on three arrests stemming from an investigation of the burglaries of, and theft of property from two farm shops.

According to a press release, Thomas Dillan Brannen, 23, of Maumelle; Joshua Robert Warren, 18, of Hazen; and Chelsea Anderson, 29, of Carlisle were arrested pending charges including commercial burglary, theft of property, tampering with evidence.

Various tools and a welder, which had been stolen from a farm shop in Jefferson County, were recovered in Saline County.

Further investigation led to the recovery of a Honda all-terrain vehicle reported taken from a farm shop in Lonoke County.

Property stolen in Jefferson County was turned over to that county’s sheriff. Criminal charges will be filed by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

The ATV taken in Lonoke County was returned to the owner.

Brannen and Warren are expected to be charged with commercial burglary and theft of property; Anderson was arrested for the offense of tampering with evidence.
