Lonoke Will Soon Be in the City Class with Free Mail Delivery - Watch Us Go to 10,000

Preparatory to having a free mail delivery for Lonoke, the city council has appointed a committee to name all the streets, after which each house is to be numbered. The streets are named as follows:

The streets running parallel with the Rock Island railroad are North Front and South Front. North of railroad running east and west; Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth.

Commencing on the east side of town, streets running north and south. Barnes, Eagle, Wright, Court, Center.

West of Center street, Depot, England, Church, Dismukes, Fletcher Place, Pearce Lane, Austin Court, Kirk Avenue, Mill Avenue, Rice Avenue, Branch Avenue.

South of the railroad, running east and west, Ash, Academy, Locust, Holly.

Commencing on the east side, running north and south, Ferguson, Reynolds, Hicks, Center.

West of Center street, Parks, Jefferson, College, McCrary, Munroe, Cannon.

East of college, College Place, west of college, Campus Avenue, Bradford addition, Elm, Oak, Maple
