Today:The Woman Can Run Clinic has begun in Lonoke. This clinic is free to the participants, however, people do need to register at www.womenrunarkansas.net. The clinic in Lonoke will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm. There are walkers, beginning runners, advanced and intermediate groups.

Today: Lonoke Physical Therapy is having a hot dog stand from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in support of the Relay for Life. Hot dog meals that consist of a hot dog, chips or cookies and a drink are $5. Hot dogs a la carte are $2 each. There will also be t-shirts for $15. Donations for the Relay for Life are greatly appreciated. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Relay for Life.

Today: The Carlisle Band is hosting a Chicken and Rice Dinner from 5-7 p.m. in the Carlisle Elementary Cafeteria. The cost is $5 per person. Proceeds will benefit the High School Band program and will help send students to Band Camp.

Monday: The Smyrna Full Gospel Church will hold a nightly revival at 7 p.m. with Edwina Kidd through March 22. The church is located at 1675 Smyrna Road in Lonoke. For more information contact Bob Carr at 501-266-9352.

Tuesday: The Carlisle Public Library will be showing the movie “Hop” at 3 p.m. All ages are invited to movie day.

Tuesday: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the board room at the Civic Center.

Wednesday: Toddler Time will be at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library. Theme will be spring.

March 21: Wii Day will be from 1-5 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library. Stop in and play.

March 23: The Lonoke County Museum will hold a Bunko night beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the museum. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The museum is located at 215 South East Front St. in Lonoke. For more information call Sherryl Miller at 501-676-6750 or 501-676-6635.

March 26: “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” program will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library. All ages are invited to participate.

March 26: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.

March 27: Toddler Time will be at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library. Theme will be Easter.

April 2: Carlisle elementary school kindergarten registration will be from 4-6:30 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria. Parents should bring a copy of the child’s social security card, birth certificate, immunization record and proof of a current physical.

April 4: Carlisle Pre-K registration for three and four year olds will be from 4-6 p.m. in the preschool building. Children must be three or four by Aug. 1, 2013. Parents should bring a copy of the child’s social security card, birth certificate, immunization record and a copy of your 2012 income tax form.

April 6: SharkRocket Swim School will be from 10 a.m. until noon at the Lonoke Community Center. SharkRocket coaches and swimmers will be teaching swim lessons. Cost is $25 which includes a T-shirt. For more information call Tara Bennett at 501-416-4438.

April 6: The Annual Miss Carlisle Pageant will be at 5 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria.

April 8: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon in the Civic Center.

April 8: The Lonoke City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the court room.

April 8: The Carlisle School board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the board room of the superintendents office.
