Lingo, Oberle to wed



Jeff and Athena Lingo of Lonoke announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Renee Lingo, to Derek McGee Oberle of Helena-West Helena.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bobbie Smith of Jacksonville and the late Richard Smith and the late Harry and Juanita Lingo, formerly of Lonoke. She is a 1999 graduate of Lonoke High School and a 2003 graduate of Arkansas State University with a bachelor’s in marketing. She is employed by Sowell Management Services as an operations manager in Maumelle.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Bud and Sydney Oberle of Helena-West Helena. He is the grandson of the late John S. and Ernestine Giffey, formerly of West Helena, and Jo Oberle of Helena-West Helena and the late William “Bill” Oberle. He is a 1999 graduate of DeSoto High School in Helena-West Helena and 2003 graduate of Westminster College with a bachelor’s in business finance and management information systems. He is employed by Southern Farm Bureau Casualty as a claims representative in Little Rock.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs. The couple will reside in North Little Rock.
