SharkRockets get second in opening meet

The Lonoke SharkRockets swim team opened the Central Arkansas Swim League season by hosting a meet at the Lonoke Community Center on Saturday.

Cabot won the meet with 641 points. Lonoke was second with 174. Lakewood was third with 137.

Swimming for Lonoke were Sabrina Adams, Emily Armstrong, Makenzie Bennett, Tristan Bennett, Peyton Blackard, Izzy Blair, Nessa Blair, Blade Brown, Tanner Canamore, Bailey Carter, Taylor Cash, Luke Caviness, Ethan Davenport, Baileigh Dulaney, Tanner Edwards, Audrey Evans, Jimmy Evans, Kelyn Fagan, Zachary Frank, Colby Hartley, Hannah Hartley, Lauren Hill, Luke Hill, Autum Jinks, Breezie Jinks, Collin Jinks, Hunter Jinks, Stormie Jinks, Sarina Jones, Casey Long, Kayla McGee, Spencer McGhee, Kenzlee Minton, Jacob Morgan, Baylee Pack, Ruth Potter, Kayla Rhodes, Colby Rogers, Cassidy Roland, Mackensie Stover, Colton Tidwell, Nash Tipton, Joseph Webester, Kanon Williams, Brayden Wilson, Evan Wilson and Graceleigh Wright.

Emily Armstrong won the girls 11-12 freestyle with a time of 31.44 seconds; she was second in the breaststroke (41.91); second in the butterfly (39.22) and second in the individual medley (1:24.88).

Makenzie Bennett won the girls 15-18 individual medley with a time of 1:24.34; she was second in the freestyle (30.91), backstroke (39.27) and butterfly (35.70).

Tristan Bennett won the girls 13-14 freestyle with a time of 32.87 seconds; she was second in the backstroke (39.79), breaststroke (43.44) and butterfly (37.94).

Peyton Blackard was second in the boys 13-14 breaststroke with a time of 47.84 seconds.

Izzy Blair was third in the girls 9-10 backstroke with a time of 57.12 seconds.

Tanner Canamore was second in three events in the boys 15-18 category: freestyle (28.75), backstroke (37.69) and individual medley (1:23.31).

Taylor Cash finished first in the boys 15-18 freestyle (27.06) and breaststroke (37.50). He was second in the backstroke (34.92).

Baileigh Dulaney was second in the girls 13-14 backstroke (44.68) and butterfly (47.40).

Tanner Edwards won the boys 13-14 freestyle (31.19) and individual medley (1:26.44) and was second in the butterfly (39.25).

Jimmy Evans won the boys 13-14 butterfly (37.09). He was second in the backstroke (39.09) and third in both the freestyle (32.56) and breaststroke (48.95).

Colby Hartley won the girls 15-18 individual medley (1:40.72) and finished second in the freestyle (35.87), backstroke (46.53) and breaststroke (49.67).

Brooke Hill won the girls 11-12 freestyle (31.43). She was second in the backstroke (38.72) and third in both the breaststroke (44.54) and butterfly (39.78.).

Collin Jinks was second in the boys 9-10 freestyle (42.63).

Sarina Jones was second in the girls 13-14 freestyle (33.93).

Kayla McGee won four races in the girls 13-14 division — freestyle (26.13), breaststroke (33.15), butterfly (29.44) and individual medley (1:06.49).

Kenzlee Minton was second in the girls 6 and under freestyle (33.90).

Jacob Morgan was third in the boys 13-14 butterfly (56.90).

Baylee Pack was third in both the girls 13-14 freestyle (34.75) and breaststroke (49.10).

Colton Tidwell won the boys 13-14 freestyle (31.19). He was second in the individual medley (1:35.78) and third in the backstroke (40.24).

Nash Tipton won the boys 11-12 freestyle (34.60) and was second in the backstroke (41.69).

Brayden Wilson was third in the boys 13-14 individual medley (1:37.35).

Evan Wilson won the the boys 15-18 backstroke (34.88) and was third in the breaststroke (38.28).
