The Carlisle City Council discussed options to resurface the tennis court during Monday night’s council meeting after hearing response from the public on utilizing grant funding.


An appreciation reception was held on Aug. 21 in honor of Eddie Moore of Carlisle, who has retired from the Lonoke County Council on Aging board of directors. During his five year service on the board, Moore was said to have helped, not only the Carlisle Senior Citizens Center, but all of Lonoke County Senior Centers.
