Carlisle’s city wide clean up will be May 9 and May 11-13 by Carlisle city crews. Trash pickup will be on the following days in the sections of town as shown on the map: Section 1 on May 9, Section 2 on May 11, Section 3 on May 12 and Section 4 on May 13.

Carlisle Mayor Ray Glover, by proclamation, declared February 2016 as “Follow your heart to our library month” in Carlisle on Monday afternoon. In honor of the celebration, staff and members of “friends of the library” dressed in a Wizard of Oz themed costumes.
