Fifth and sixth grade students at Carlisle Elementary School were amazed by the 3-D printer presentation provided through the Carlisle Public Library. Lynnette Ward, public librarian, coordinated the event. Meagan Ashcraft, the presenter, taught students about the history and mechanics of the 3-D printer, passed around previously printed items, and for the grand finale, allowed students to observe the printer in action.
