The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program held an End of Year Group Meeting on Wednesday, May 1, at the Carlisle City Park.

The 2013 Hippy children received a certificate of completion and medallions in the opening ceremony.

The theme was box car derby, in which the families made a box car together to bring to the park. The children ran races together and each received a trophy. Following the derby races, the children and families were served pizza and drinks. In conclusion each HIPPY child received a goody bag that had a book and I Love Hippy t-shirt.

In attendance were Kimora Bogard, Mason Boyle, Nathan Butler, Luke Caviness, William Corter, David Dalton, Jackson Ellis, Daniel Ford, Bailey Hall, Caleb Julian, Brody Martin, Chad McCary, Kylie McClain, Haven McElyea, Shelbi Melcher, Christian Parker, Lawson Petrus, Alex Ruiz, Kiersten Taylor, Abigail Tustison, Grace Tustison and Hannah Zimmerman.
