Today: The Carlisle Public Library will be celebrating National Video Game Day. The wii will be set up from 1-5 p.m.

Friday: KTHV Channel 11 will be at the James B. Abraham Stadium in Lonoke at 5 a.m. to showcase the school on its morning show. Coaches, administration, students, players and cheerleaders are invited to come show their school spirit.

Monday: The Carlisle Public Library will celebrating National Rock Day. Patrons are invited to paint a pet rock from 2-5 p.m.

Monday: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. at the administration building.

Monday: Smyrna Full Gospel Church holding revival beginning today through Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. each evening.

Evangelist is Edwina Kidd. The church is located at 1675 Smyrna Road in Lonoke

Tuesday: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center.

Wednesday: There will be a farm themed toddler time at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.

Sept. 21: The Lonoke County Fair talent show will be held at 1 p.m. on the Lonoke County Fairgrounds. Deadline to enter is Sept. 17. You can pick up entry forms from Jo McCallie or you can print them off from the website at lonokecountyfair.com. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Jo McCallie at 501-626-7462.

Sept. 23: The Carlisle Public Library will celebrate National Checkers Day from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Sept. 24: The Carlisle Public Library will be showing the movie “Super Buddies” at 3:45 p.m. Snack will be provided

Sept. 25: There will be a Hats themed toddler time at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.

Sept. 26: The Carlisle Public Library will have Bingo 4 Books from 3:30-5 p.m.

Oct. 7: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon in the Civic Center.

Oct. 14: The Lonoke City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the courtroom.

Oct. 14: The Carlisle School board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Superintendents office.
