Madison Bowlan was crowned as queen of the 2013 Carlisle Junior High Homecoming Court on Thursday, Oct. 26 at Fred C. Hardke Field.
During the homecoming coronation, Bowlan was crowned by Junior Bison football captain Gray Amaden. Her father, Vance Bowlan, escorted her along with Amaden. Angie Clare Petrus and Hayden Moran were her attends for the evening ceremony.
Maid of Honor was was Ashby Terry and co-captain was Devon Kendrick. Ninth-grade maids were Hannah Anthony and Rachel Waterman; Eighth-grade maids were Kylie Warren and Mattie Staggs. Seventh-grade maids were Cassie Madar and Brianna Jenkins.
Ninth-grade football players who were recognized during the coronation were Carson Cunningham, Ki Dearen, Kole Arterberry, Ty Golleher, Brent Bowlan, Christian McCallie, Shawn Wakefield, Zach Caviness, Zach Means, Mason Carter, Brian Henderson, Tyler Sanders and Tyler Teel.
Bailey Amaden provided entertainment with the song “There You’ll Be.” Emcee for the coronation was William Rountree.
Prior to the ceremony, the seventh grade football team defeated Palestine-Wheatley 28-20. Following the ceremony, the Junior Bison fell short against Palestine-Wheatley in a 42-34 loss with four overtimes.
