Altruistic Club makes plans for upcoming club year

The Carlisle Altruistic club met Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church fellowship hall.

President Carolyn Martin presided over the meeting with 14 members present.

The meeting was a work session to discuss and make plans for the 2013-14 year. Members are looking forwards to a great year.

Sandi Tarter was elected vice-president. Pat Hogan was elected as reporter, replacing Tarter, who vacated the position to become vice president.

The meeting was adjourned by Martin reminding everyone of the General Federation of Women Club District IV club meeting, which was held Aug. 24 at the Swilley Lodge in Hazen.
