Chambers nursing home news

Hello from Chambers Nursing and Rehab Center! Here’s the activities for the week of May 4-10:

On Saturday, May 4, the Landmark Baptist Church came for their weekly visit and we played dominoes that afternoon. Sunday, the Lonoke Baptist Church came for Sunday School and had family visits.

On Monday, we had Bible study with Carrie Polk and that afternoon we played bingo. The big winner was Evelyn White. Tuesday, we had exercise class and watched a western movie while enjoying snack time.

On Wednesday, the Chatter Club met and we enjoyed outside walks. Thursday, we had exercise class and our Mother’s Day party. Party foods were cheese and crackers, mini tarts, olives and punch. A rose was given to all our ladies. We hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day, also. On Friday, we had Bible study and played ball toss. Sarah Vinson was the winner.

Our prayers are with the families of Alice Fitts and John Simmons at their times of loss.

Chelsea Anderson visited Jerry Duch. Jerry Watson, Lavon and Debby Priest visited Dana Priest. John and Dorothy Brigham visited Virgie Smith. Billy Booth visited Maudie Sayger and Bessie Swaim. Anita Ingle and family visited Evelyn Staggs. Jim West and Linnie visited Floyd Churchwell. Tevin Gooden and Gwen Hatton visited Mark Hatton. Karen Saunders, Billy Booth and James Burk visited Marion Simmons.
