Flapjack Fundraiser to benefit New Heart

The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is partnering with New Heart Ministries of Arkansas to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 8. This nonprofit organization is raising money to open a new ministry for women and abused community members in Lonoke County.

“Our team is always proud to partner with nonprofit organizations who aim to assist our community members in need,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “We extend an invitation to all those in the Little Rock area to join us on Feb. 8 as we help New Heart Ministries of Arkansas fundraiser for a good cause.”

The New Heart Ministries fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 4333 Warden Road, North Little Rock, AR starting at 8 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Tena Hauk at 870-552-5227. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage and beverages.

Applebee’s partners with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent one of the company’s efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
