Today: Stop by the Carlisle Public Library from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. to “trick or treat” through haunted stacks.

Today: New Testament Missionary Baptist Church will host their annual Fall Festival from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the church parking lot and fellowship center. Parents, bring your children ages two through 12 for a fun filled evening in a Christian environment. There will be treats, games, crafts and activities. The church is located at 1601 Lincoln St., Lonoke.

Sunday: The Carlisle Futuristic League will host its annual Soup for Scholarships luncheon from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Carlisle First United Methodist Church. Tickets are $5 and are available from club members or at the door. Homemade soups and desserts will be served.

Monday: Hunter’s education course will be held in the Lonoke Community Center multi-purpose room Monday Nov. 4, Tuesday, Nov. 5 and Thursday Nov. 7. Classes are 5:30-8 p.m. To register call Arlene Green at 501-843-1504.

Wednesday: The Carlisle Public will have a soup toddler time at 10 a.m.

Nov. 6: The Lonoke Public Library will be going “squirrel crazy” during our Bunny Tales Story time at 10 a.m. Children age two and up are invited to come enjoy in games, crafts, stories and songs.

Nov. 6: The Carlisle Public Library will have Bingo-4-Books from 4-5 p.m. All ages are invited to participate.

Nov. 11: The city of Lonoke municipal office will be closed in observance of Veterans day.

Nov. 11: The Carlisle School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the board room at the superintendent’s office.

Nov. 12: The Carlisle Public will have a deer hunting toddler time at 10 a.m.

Nov. 12: The Lonoke City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the court room.

Nov. 18: A pinch of this food demo will be at 5:15 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

Nov. 18: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.

Nov. 19: The Carlisle Public Library will have a soup toddler time at 10 a.m.

Nov. 24: Its movie day at the Carlisle Public Library. Stop by at 3:45 p.m. Snacks will be provided

Nov. 27: The Carlisle Public Library will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday

Nov. 19: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center.
