Saturday: The City of Carlisle and CAPDD, in partnership with Carlisle Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), are sponsoring an E-Waste Recycling Drive. Gather old electronics for pickup and recycling including: cell phones, computers, laptops, gaming systems, copiers, printers, DVD players, VCR’s, stereo components, office equipment, chargers, cables and cords. CHS FBLA members will do door-to-door pickup in Carlisle from 9 a.m. to noon. Please have items ready prior to 9 a.m. Drop-offs can be taken to CHS Old Gym parking lot during that time.

Monday: The Carlisle Public Library will be closed.

Monday: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.

Tuesday: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the board room at the Civic Center.

Tuesday: The Carlisle Public Library will host a spy party at 4:30 p.m. for TWEENS, fourth, fifth and sixth graders.

Feb. 26: The Carlisle Public Library will be showing the movie “Hotel Transylvania” at 3:45 p.m. Snack provided.

March 4: The Carlisle Lions Club will hold its annual pancake supper and auction from 5-7 p.m. in the Carlisle Elementary cafeteria. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. The silent auction will be from 5-6:30 p.m. and the live auction begins at 6 p.m.

March 11: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon in the Civic Center.

March 11: The Lonoke City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the court room at City Hall.

March 11: The Carlisle School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the board room at the Superintendents office.
