Saturday: A book signing for local author Aretha Dodson will be held at the Marjorie Walker McCrary Library in Lonoke from 9 a.m. to noon. Dodson, a former teacher and administrator in the Lonoke School District, who wrote That’s the Way It “Wuz” Back Then: A Recollection of Events, Stories, and More.

Monday: Tween St. Patrick’s Day craft for grades fourth through sixth will be at 4 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

Monday: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon in the Civic Center.

Monday: The Lonoke City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the court room.

Wednesday: There will be a St. Patrick’s Day themed toddler time at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

March 13: Painting on Canvas for adults will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

March 14: There will be a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Carlisle High School, 145 Raborn Road.

March 15: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will host a hamburger supper from 5-7 p.m. at the Civic Center. This years bingo cards will be given with the purchase of any meal. Guests are invited to try and win one of many prizes donated by local businesses. Tickets for the supper will be available for purchase through any Chamber of Commerce member and at the door. Cost is $6 for hamburger meal and $4 for hot dog meals. Individual hot dogs and hamburgers will also be available for purchase. Bingo cards will not be given with any individual item purchases.

March 17: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.

March 18: Pinch of this food demonstration on dips will begin at 5:15 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.

March 18: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center

March 19: There will be a spring themed toddler time at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

March 20: Bingo for Books will be from 4-5 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

March 25: There will a “Who stole to cookies” story time for all ages at 5 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library

March 26: There will be a St. Patrick’s Day themed toddler time at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library
