Monday: The Lonoke School Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the administration building.
Monday: The Carlisle Public Library will be closed in observance of Presidents Day.
Tuesday: Pinch of This, adult cooking demonstration will be at 5:15 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.
Tuesday: The Carlisle City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center.
Wednesday: There will be a Presidents Day themed Toddler Time beginning at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.
Feb. 20: Painting on Canvas for Teens in seventh through 12th grade will be at 4 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.
Feb. 24: There will be science fun from Tweens, students in fourth through sixth grade beginning at 3:45 p.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.
Feb. 26: There will be a germs themed Toddler Time beginning at 10 a.m. at the Carlisle Public Library.
Feb. 27: A representative from Affordable Care Act will be at the Carlisle Public Library between 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. to assist with enrollment.
March 2: There will be a” Grab-n-Go lunch” fish, chicken and rib lunch fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. behind the Lonoke County Courthouse. Cost is $15 per plate. Meal includes three pieces of fish, two pieces of chicken, four ribs, slaw, beans, fries, hush-puppies, onion and pickle. Fish and chicken will be prepared by King Kat. Pre-orders are required by Feb. 21. Proceeds will benefit the Wade Knox child Advocacy Center’s Medical and Mental Health Services. For more information about the event call 501-676-2552. March 10: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon in the Civic Center.

March 15: The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce will host a hamburger supper from 5-7 p.m. at the Civic Center. This years bingo cards will be given with the purchase of any meal. Guests are invited to try and win one of many prizes donated by local businesses. Tickets for the supper will be available for purchase through any Chamber of Commerce member and at the door. Cost is $6 for hamburger meal and $4 for hot dog meals. Individual hot dogs and hamburgers will also be available for purchase. Bingo cards will not be given with any individual item purchases.
