Hello from Chambers Nursing Home and Rehab Center. We hope everyone had a good week. Here’s the activities for the week of May 11-17:

On Saturday, May 11, the Landmark Baptist Church came for their weekly fellowship and, that afternoon, we enjoyed the Hwy 86 Band. Sunday, the Lonoke Baptist Church came for Sunday School and Immanuel Baptist Church came for fellowship that afternoon.

On Monday, we had Bible study with Carrie Polk and Tumarshall Adkins. We played basketball toss that afternoon. Tuesday, we had exercise class and played bingo. The winner was Lucille Young.

On Wednesday, the Chatter Club met. Several of our ladies had their fingernails manicured and polished. What a treat. Thursday, was video day. On Friday, we had Bible study and played bean bag can toss.

Please come when you can. Our Olympics will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 24. The games will be here at the facility. Family and friends are welcome to attend. The award ceremony will be held that afternoon at 2 p.m. Ribbons, medals and trophies will be awarded.

Beverly Mathews visited Addie Conder. Billy Booth, Bill, Kym and Kylie Warren visited Jerry Duch. Mark Lowery, Nick Shahm, Debbie and Kelly Fox visited Shirley Lowery. Billy Booth, Jean Shook, B. Holmes and E Floyd visited Marion Simmons. Cindy, Russell and Riley visited Bessie Swaim. Bev and Len Long visited Roy Cox. Exelyn Watson visited Doris Pasley.
