Hello from Chambers Nursing and Rehab Center. We hope everyone is enjoying the Fall weather. Here’s the activities for the week of Oct 27-Nov 2:

On Saturday, Oct. 27, the Landmark Baptist Church came for their weekly visit and we watched the Razorbacks play football. Sunday, the Lonoke Baptist Church came for Sunday School and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church came by that afternoon. On Monday, we had Bible study with Carrie Polk and Tumarshall Adkins. During the afternoon, we enjoyed caramel apples. Tuesday, the Chatter Club met and we had exercise class. On Wednesday, we had trick or treaters visit and we enjoyed the Halloween party. We had about 75 kids come by. The kitchen band played for us. We served cheese dip, cheese balls, strawberry ghosts, cupcakes and bubbly black punch. The residents’ best costume award when to Jimmy Simmons. Several staff members dressed up also. A good time was had by all. Thursday, we had the social and activity therapy. On Friday, we enjoyed Bible study and reminisce.

Donna Bland and Curtis Bland visited Beatrice Davis. Gladys Merrit, Jim Walton and Helen Holloway visited Ruth Craig.
