Chambers nursing home news

Hello from Chambers Nursing Home and Rehab Center. We hope everyone is doing good. Here are the activites for the past week of Oct 20-26:

On Saturday, Oct. 20 Landmark Baptist Church came for their weekly visit and Morrison Chapel made their monthly visit. Sunday the Lonoke Baptist Church came for Sunday School and Walters Chapel came for a visit that afternoon. On Monday we had Bible Study with Carrie Polk and Tumarshall Adkins. That afternoon was Activity Therapy and then we played dominoes. Tuesday, we had exercise class, the monthly birthday party and played dominoes. On Wednesday, the Chatter Club met and we enjoyed craft time. We made jack-o-lanterns. Thursday, was bingo time. The big winner was Brenda McGee. That afternoon, we played dominoes. On Friday, we had Bible study.

We would like to thank Hospice Home Health for sponsoring a tailgate party for the Carlisle Bison. Football players, coaches, and cheerleaders all came out and ate with the residents. Everyone enjoyed it. Hospice Home Health said it was their biggest turn out for a tailgate party ever. Way to go, Carlisle. They cooked hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone. The cheeleaders lead the cheers. A good time was had by all.

Bob and Beverly Carr visited Alton Carr. Chester and Connie Smith visited Virgie Smith. Beatrice Heard visited Beatrice Davis. John Hobson visited Jim Davis.
