Chambers Nursing Home News

Hello from Chambers Nursing Home and Rehab Center. We hope everyone is doing well.

Here’s the news for the past two weeks: On Saturday, Sept. 29, Landmark Baptist Church came for their weekly visit and we played dominoes. On Sunday, the Lonoke Baptist Church came for Sunday School and we enjoyed family visits. Monday we had Bible study with Carrie Polk and Tumarshal Adkins. On Tuesday, we had music and snacks and activity therapy. Wednesday, the Chatter Club met and we played bingo. The big winner was Jeannette King. On Thursday, it was exercise class day. We played bingo and the big winner that day was Jimmy Simmons. On Friday, we enjoyed Bible study and crafts. We painted pumpkins for Halloween to decorate the dining room.

Billy Booth visited Bessie Swaim. Judy Roberts visited Helen Comer and Jimmy Simmons.

On Saturday, Oct. 6, the Landmark Baptist Church came for their weekly fellowship and we played dominoes. Sunday, the Lonoke Baptist Church came for Sunday School and that evening, we enjoyed piano music ans gospel songs. On Monday, we had Bible study and played ring toss. Tuesday, we had exercise class and the Resident Council meeting. On Wednesday, the Chatter Club met and we played bingo. The big winner was Margarette Jackson. Thursday, we had exercise class and played dominoes. Also, a party was held in honor of Sarah Vincent on her birthday. On Friday, we had Bible study and played dominoes.

Our prayers are with the family of Lela Smith at their time of loss. Please come when you can. May God bless you. We hope you have a great week.
