Create an heirloom sharecropper’s garden while learning the basics of gardening at the Plantation Agriculture Museum. The class will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 6, at the Plantation Agriculture Museum, in Scott. Composting, using seeds and transplants, and tips to keep gardens healthy will be covered.

Space is limited, pre-registration is highly suggested; admission is $10.

The Plantation Agriculture Museum, at Scott, is at the junction of U.S. Highway 165 and Arkansas Highway 161.

The Museum is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday; from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Admission to the museum exhibits is free for self-guided tours. Guided tours are $4 for adults and $3 for children.
