Visitors to the Cabot Star-Herald website will notice something new, a login screen for access to website content. The paywall became active on Monday, Sept. 16.
Access to the website will be provided to all print subscribers at no additional cost. Subscribers with a registered email and password, can login by providing the requested information.
Subscribers who have not previously established a password, can register at https://lonokenews.stephensmedia.com or by clicking on the “subscribe” button located near the top, right corner of the Cabot Star-Herald home page www.cabotstarherald.com.
The Star-Herald now offers print subscriptions, which also include online access, as well as online only subscriptions. To subscribe, or to manage an existing subscription, go to https://lonokenews.stephensmedia.com or call 855-774-6802.
Subscribers can now update their account information, schedule a vacation stop, report a delivery problem or pay their bill online. “This change makes it easier and more convenient for readers to manage their subscriptions,” according to Emily Billings, General Manager. “Readers with access to the internet now have 24/7 access to their accounts.”
Readers are asked to contact our customer service hotline if they have any questions or problems with access to the website. Customer service hours are 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday and 6:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. The toll-free customer service telephone number is 855-774-6802.
