Lady Panthers finish fourth in 7A track meet

The Cabot Lady Panthers finished fourth in the Class 7A state track meet at Bentonville High School on Thursday.

The Lady Panthers scored 50 points. Bentonville won the state title with 139 points. Fayetteville was second with 101 points. Springdale Har-Ber was third at 57 points. Fort Smith Southside was fifth at 46.5 points.

Cabot’s Lexi Weeks was fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1 minute, 2.35 seconds.

Micah Huckabee was sixth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:52.47.

Marlene Sheehan was eighth in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 13:26.30.

Tori Weeks was second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 50.10 seconds.

Cabot was sixth in the 400-meter relay with a time of 51.50 seconds. Running were Ladaysha Evans, Lexi Weeks, Rochelle Mallory and Tori Weeks.

Cabot was fourth in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 4:29.03. Running were Evans, Lexi Weeks, Mallory and Tori Weeks.

Lexi and Tori Weeks tied for first in the pole vault with a height of 12 feet.

Lexi Weeks was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet, 2.25 inches.

In the boys meet, Cabot was 13th with seven points.

Hayden Richey was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 43.67 seconds.

Cabot was eighth in the 400-meter relay with a time of 45.23 seconds. Running were Layton Alley, Seth Hoggard, Richey and Mark Odom.

Cabot was sixth in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 3:47.14. Running were John Sowden, Hoggard, Rickey and Odom.

Cabot was seventh in the 3,200-meter relay with a time of 8:55.24. Running were Clay Killingsworth, Sowden, Riley Hillegas and Dylan Ball.
