The current Cabot American Legion Baseball Program is starting its 10th season, according to team administrator Elizabeth Frantal.

“We started with one team and have grown to three teams and six coaches,” she said.

The Senior Class AAA team is coached by Chris Gross, who played on the first team 10 years ago and is in his eighth year as a coach. He is assisted by former player Casey Vaughan. Both Vaughan and Gross are Cabot High School alumni.

The Junior Red Team Class A is coached by Justin Moore, who is in his second year with the program and Cabot High School assistant coach David Smith, who is in his fifth year with the Legion program.

The Junior White Team Class A is coached by Joe Bryant, who is in his second year with the program, and newcomer Bryson Morris. Both are alumnus of Cabot High School and played for the Cabot Legion team.

The teams are sponsored by Centennial Bank, which has been the main sponsor of the program the last 10 years.

A schedule for all the teams is posted on www.hometeamsonline.com/baseball/cabotamericanlegion.
