Woodlawn News

On Thursday, May 8, the Woodlawn Community Center opened its doors at 10:30 a.m. Those attending were: Dorothy Williams, Dorothy Henry, JoAnn Gotherman, Mary Thate, Birtha Larkin, Anita Weathers, Judy Johnson, Linda Wright, Janet Ray, Nora Cowell, Martha Hicks, John Hudspeth and MaryBell Hudspeth.

All attendees attending recited the Pledge of Allegiance, and sang “God Bless America.”

A fun day of “gift bag bingo” was played and enjoyed by everyone. There were many pleasant surprises.

Martha Hicks blessed the food, and everyone enjoyed their dinner.

This coming Thursday, May 15, Kern Kennedy and the “Camp Ground Express,” will be our guest, presenting a great program.

Come and enjoy our Woodlawn Community Center’s special Thursday events at 10070 Arkansas Highway 31 north. Come early for a cup of coffee and bring a dish for potluck.
