Virgil O. Teague, Jr., age 68, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 in Cabot, Arkansas. Virgil was born on June 9, 1944 in San Antonio.
Virgil is survived by his loving wife, Nona Tope Teague; his daughter, Kelly Teague; his son, Ross Teague; and his brother, Jimmy Teague.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Valenta.
Virgil was 1962 graduate of S.A. Highlands H.S. and served honorably in the U.S. Air Force Reserves Alamo wing for six years. Virgil retired after a 40-year career with Union Pacific Railroad, with the last 25 years in a management position and Cabot city councilman.
A funeral was held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013, at Hurley’s Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Texas. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service. Interment was in Campbellton, Texas Cemetery.
