Essie Mae Sivils, 98, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013. She was a member of Lonoke Baptist Church, and a past longtime member of North Crossett First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Sivils; and daughter Jewel Dean Sivils McCone.
Survivors include grandchildren, Sheila Wallace and husband Jimmy of Lonoke, Tom McCone and wife Jan of Greenwood, Patrick McCone and wife April of Fayetteville, Kim Copps and husband Lonnie of Elm Springs, and Jody McCone of Fayetteville; nine great-grandchildren, Jennifer Wallace-Hale, Leah Wallace-Palmer, Cara McCone-Akin, Alisha McCone-Howard, Caleb Freeze, Jacob and Marianne Copps, Caroline and Owen McCone; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, in Boyd Chapel, with a memorial service at 10:30 am, Friday, Aug. 9, at First Baptist Church in North Crossett. Burial was in Pinewood Memorial Cemetery.
