Earnest Wehr

Earnest Ambrose Wehr, 79, of Cabot died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.

He was born Nov. 4, 1933 in Sigourney, Iowa, to Walter and Leona Webber Wehr, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by wife Mireya Rosales Wehr of Lake Forest, Calif.; children, Kathleen House and husband, Buddy of Little Rock, Frank Castro-Wehr and wife, Dyann of Nevada City, Calif., Deaconess Colleen Caldwell and husband, Kelly of Cabot, Maureen Wehr and William Shaver of Marco Island, Fla., Michael Wehr and wife, Florence of St. Charles, Mo., Patrick Wehr and wife, Michelle of Frankfort, Ill., Megan Pruett and husband, Steven of Bakersfield, Calif.; step-children, Brett Lopez of Australia and Talia Lopez of Lake Forrest; siblings, Alvin Wehr and wife, Mona of Austin, Texas, Linda French and husband, Jim of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and Cecil Wehr and his wife, Kay of Lawrence, Kan.; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and the mother of the children, Joan Alice Hoyne Wehr.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Christ United Methodist Church, 15361 Hwy. 5 in Cabot, with Pastor Jeffery Warrick officiating.
