Dwight “Bo” Putt, age 57, of Hazen departed this earthly world and entered Heaven on July 24, 2013. He was surrounded by his loving family. Bo was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ola Putt and brother, David Putt. He is survived by his loving wife, Francine Putt; one son, Jeremy Putt of Hazen, one daughter, Jennifer Putt Clifton of Hazen; two grandsons, Logan Putt and Wesley Clifton, both of Hazen; two brothers, Dale Putt of Hazen and Ronald Putt of Lonoke; four sisters, Lyvonne Tucker of Carlisle, Dianne Brewer of Clarendon, Rita Vaughn of Lonoke, and Bertha Putt of Carlisle; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Bo was born on November 24, 1955 in Carlisle, Arkansas. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and was an avid duck, deer and turkey hunter. He loved the outdoors, working on the farm and spending time with his grandsons.
Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Walters Chapel Cemetery.
