Charles Flynt Jr.

Charles Fredrick Flynt Jr., 91, of Cabot died Friday, March 28, 2014. He was born July 5, 1922 in Lonoke to the late Charles Fredrick Flynt, Sr. and Annie Taylor Flynt. A United States Navy Veteran, Mr. Flynt served during WWII and Pearl Harbor as a Boatswain Mate First Class on the USS Ramsey, USS Pruett and USS White Marsh. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, James Louis Flynt, Richard Milton Flynt, Juanita Brown, Gladys Cates, and Anna Lea McGinley.

He is survived by his wife Eula Mae Flynt of Cabot and sister, Sue Allen.

Visitation was Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services were 10 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2014 at the funeral home, with Pastor Robbie Flynt officiating.
