Chester and Becky Brown, Cabot Church of Christ, present a $10,000 donation to the school district in support of the backpack program, to ensure children who rely on school meals have sufficient food during weekends. She recalled presenting the idea of helping feed children, “and they were all for it.” A few years ago the focus changed to changed from collecting the supplies to raising funds for the supplies.
