Construction of the addition to the Cabot Veterans Park Community Center is now well under way, despite unfavorable weather for the past month. Parks and Recreation director John Crow said Tuesday; ground breaking for the project was held in November. The addition will have banquet facilities, extra physical fitness room, and event facilities, as well as a public tornado safe room. Construction is estimated to be complete by the end of 2016.
