Booker Martin on Monday told of the work to maintain the Martin Loop Park, a 3-acre county park in the Kerr community. Last year Martin bought a mower to replace one that “burned out” understanding he would be reimbursed. “It hasn’t happened yet,” he said. The funds were discussed at the April 16 quorum court meeting. The grass is in the current state because it has been too wet to mow, Martin said. (photo Ed Galucki)
