On Thursday, July 17, The Woodlawn Community Center opened its doors at 10 a.m. Those attending were: Bowen Weathers, Anita Weathers, J.R. Edwards, Margie Edwards, Diana Allen, Carl Allen, Martha Hicks, Ellen Bryant, Sue Grady, Sue Swain, Jackie Maxwell, Rebecca Wilson, George Wilson, Janet Ray, Sierra Goodman, Emily Goodman, Cecelia Anderson, Andy Childress, JoAnn Gotherman, Ruby Kittell, Roy Kittell, Dorothy Henry and Dorothy Williams.

President Cecelia Anderson opened the program, leading the attendees in reciting “The Pledge of Allegiance,” and singing “God Bless America,” accompanied by Anita Weathers on the piano.

Bowen Weathers had everyone join him in singing, “ll be listing” and “Glory Land” and ending with “Amazing Grace.”

George Wilson gave the invocation, inviting the attendees to remember those that are sick and in need of prayer.

The Woodlawn Community Center greatly enjoyed having The Allen and Edwards family from Country Chapel, singing and praising God with their songs and music.

Carl blessed the food and everyone enjoyed their dinner.

This Thursday, July 24, The Woodlawn Community Center has invited The George Wilson band, along with friends Jim and Hazel.

Come and enjoy this special event at the Woodlawn Community Center at: 10070 Arkansas 31 North. Come early for a cup of coffee, and bring a dish for potluck.
