On Thursday, July 10, The Woodlawn Community center opened its doors at 10 a.m. The program began at 10:30 a.m. Those attending were: Anita Weathers, Bowen Weathers, Jackie Maxwell, Andy Childress, Jimmie Taylor, Alice King, Martha Hicks, Lonnie Irvin, Judy Johnson, Mary Thate, Birtha Larkin, Janet Ray, Sue Grady, Cecelia Anderson, Dorothy Henry and Dorothy Williams.

Everything opened as usual, Ray opened with prayer remembering friends and neighbors who are sick and unable to attend.

Thursday was a special fun day for the Woodlawn Attendees, (Playing Bingo.) Everyone brings useful gifts and places them in festive or brown paper bags. No money is involved. And everyone enjoys the day, playing “Gift Bag Bingo.”

After Bingo and fellowship, the food was blessed and everyone enjoyed their dinner.

This Thursday, July 17, Miss Jade Gibbs, (Miss Cabot) will be our special guest. A great program is planned.

Come and enjoy this special Thursday event at the Woodlawn Community Center at: 10070 Arkansas Highway 31 north, Come early for a cup of coffee, and bring a dish for potluck.
