Operation Roundup supports Kohen’s Park

First Electric District Manager Karen Southerland (left) and First Electric marketing representative David Copeland (right) present Juanita Williams a check for $1,000 from Operation Roundup to Kohen’s Park Foundation. Kohen’s Park is a memorial to Kohen Williams; it is privately owned but is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. with a pavilion, recreational area, game area, walking track and quiet places to pray. Under Operation Round-Up, enrolled First Electric members have their monthly electric bill rounded up to the next even dollar amount, and the funds are used to support various non-profit organizations and college scholarships. Operation Roundup has raised more than $712,000 since 1998.
