Lonoke County Collector Patricia McCallie of Carlisle has announced her plans to seek a fifth term as Lonoke County Collector. She was first elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2008, 2010 and 2012.

McCallie is a lifelong resident of Lonoke County where she and her late husband, Tim, farmed for many years. They have three adult children and six grandchildren.

She is a member of the Arkansas collector’s association and has attended classes pertaining to the computer system and the operation of the collector’s office.

McCallie stated, “in 2013 the collector’s office collected over $37,000,000.00 in taxes. This and all other charges on the county tax books must be accounted for on daily, monthly and yearly reports. I have a great staff and we work very diligently to accomplish this and all the other duties of this office.”

McCallie said, “I have over 18 years experience in the collector’s office and will continue to operate the office efficiently and will be a good steward of the taxpayers money. My staff and I take great pride in giving the citizens of Lonoke county the service they deserve. I would appreciate your support and vote.”
