Homecoming Parade set for Friday

The 2013 Cabot Homecoming parade will be Friday.

Entry forms are available online at http://www.cabotschools.org/

Fees are (entries must be hand-carried to the high school office): car/truck - $50; truck with trailer/float - $75; marching/walking group - $40.

Bicycles, all-terrain vehicles and 18-wheel vehicles are not allowed in the parade.

All drivers must have a valid driver?s license.

Candy may not be thrown or given out from any float or by anyone accompanying an entry. Anyone throwing candy will be removed from the parade by a school administrator or Cabot police officer.

Parents retrieving children after the parade must coordinate meeting places with float coordinators.

There will not be a rain date. Entry fees will be refunded if the parade is canceled for weather; cancelation announcement will be posted on the high school marquee.

On Friday, schools will dismiss at 1:45 p.m; the Homecoming procession begins at 3:15 p.m.

The parade route begins at the intersection of South Pine Street (Arkansas Highway 89) and Panther Trail; it ends at the intersection of South Pine and Pond streets.
