Keaton Thaxton of Carlisle presents Wade Knox Children’s Advocacy Center director Karen James with a $2,500 donation made through the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program. America’s Farmers Grow Communities; Keaton Thaxton has directed a $2,500 donation to the Wade Knox Children’s Advocacy Program. Funded by America’s Farmers Grow Communities, the donation will be used to purchase audio and video staff training programs to assist children who have been exposed to abusive environments. “It’s a great organization,” said Thaxton. “They provide assistance to a lot of youth in our community.” America’s Farmers Grow Communities is sponsored by the Monsanto Fund as part of the America’s Farmers initiative that celebrates the important contributions of farmers. The initiative has donated more than $13 million to nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. across the country.
