Crabbe serves as page in Senate

Cabot Junior High North freshman Kara Crabbe served as a page in the Arkansas General Assembly for Senate Majority Leader Eddie Joe Williams on March 26.

Kara is the daughter of Don and Patty Crabbe of Cabot.

She is an honor student in the pre-AP track, participates in gifted and talented activities and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. She completed seventh and eighth grades with a 4.0 grade-point average.

She is a member of the dance team and was selected for the Cabot High School Varsity Dance Team for the 2013-14 school year. She was a member of the volleyball team in seventh and eighth grades.

Honors and awards include: the Positive Panther Award given by faculty for having a positive attitude, possessing an outstanding work ethic and displaying school spirit; the community service award; the A Team award for earning all As; and the physical education award.

Additionally, she is a member of Cornerstone Bible Fellowship and the ONE Student Ministry. She serves on the youth group leadership team and volunteers at the “Church Under the Bridge,” which provides worship services and meals to Little Rock’s homeless under the Broadway Bridge.
